Food Sources and Inake for Homelessness



               
Homelessness is defined as living in housing that is below the minimum standard or lacks secure tenure. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular and secure food sources.

This project committed to design an innovative service that allows homeless people to get efficient and accessible food. By developing the idea as part of the homelessness issues, this project aims to give out possible solutions to increase the quantity and quality of food available to homeless people, as well as evoking the general public’s attention to the issue. The ultimate goal is to create a sustainable solution that can address the overall condition of homeless people and provide them with adequate resources.








Research Takeaways
Food Sharing programs often represents the only way some homeless individuals will have access to healthy safe food.
Many individuals rely on the food sharing program in areas near them.
Half of the interviewees (4 out of 8) do not attend food sharing program.
    Limited food storage space.
    Food is low on the list of priorities.
    Dental or mouth problems that make homelessness hard to eat.
