Arkham At Once
Arkham at Once is visual mapping translated from H.P Lovecraft’s story “The Color Out of Space”. The system of visual types are created using common structures of ocean creatures and astronomy which are the main inspirations of his work.
H.P Lovecraft has a writing style that is more like a documentary novel than traditional horror fiction. Therefore, the mapping blocks are arranged based on the descriptions of the places to make the whole installation more convincible.
In order to prevent the audience from understanding the whole story (they may lose sanity to know such existence due to Lovecraft’s description), The whole narrative is performed in a non-linear way.
